DISPENSING SOLUTIONS AND ePHYSICIAN PARTNER TO EQUIP DSI’s "Dsystem" IN-OFFICE DRUG-DISPENSING WITH HANDHELD ELECTRONIC PRESCRIBING

Santa Ana, CA - Dispensing Solutions, Inc., a Pharmaceutical Management Services Company, has formed a partnership with ePhysician, Inc. to equip DSI’s Dsystem in-office dispensing hardware and software with the capability to prescribe electronically through the use of ePhysician’s application suite, ePractice.™ The first installations using the integrated systems are scheduled for December, 2001.
Under the agreement, DSI’s Dsystem will communicate real time with ePhysician ePractice™ allowing DSI’s participating physicians to seamlessly dispense in-house, electronically prescribe and transmit prescriptions as well as track manufacturers samples on a wireless PDA using the combined platforms. The agreement also states that ePhysician and DSI will represent each other exclusively in sales to customers interested in integrated dispensing solutions over the next two years, contingent on meeting certain volume targets. Joint marketing initiatives are currently under development.

DSI also has executed an agreement with Argus Medical Management, L.L.C., an MSO with over 300 doctors including Pro Health Partners, one of the most respected Independent Physicians Associations ("IPA") based in Long Beach, CA.
