Dispensing Solutions, Inc. (DSI) was awarded the Verified Accredited Wholesale Distributors© (VAWD©) accreditation from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy© (NABP©).

Launched in 2005, the VAWD program was created to protect the general public against counterfeit drugs affecting the country’s drug supply. The program accredits wholesale distributors who are legitimate, qualified for state licensure, and employs security and best practices for safely distributing prescription drugs from manufacturer to the facility dispensing level. After successfully undergoing a vigorous compliance review and a comprehensive on-site inspection of the DSI facility, DSI was awarded with the VAWD accreditation.

We accredit wholesale distributors based upon licensure verification, continuous compliance, and on-site inspections. Based on the criteria, manufacturers, wholesale distributors, pharmacies, and practitioners need only look for VAWD accreditation to be assured of legitimate wholesale distributors and professional practices in the distribution of prescription drugs.”
